"The riddles of Rila Mountains" is the first detailed high altitude self-guided tour in Bulgaria

Traventuria is proud to announce the completion of the first detailed high altitude self-guided walk ever made in Bulgaria. The exisiting independent treks until now have all been either incomplete and with basic description or just based on the use of tourist maps, which caused huge problems to foreigners in the high mountains. "The riddles of Rila Mountains" reveals the best of the alpine hikes in two of the most popular Bulgarian mountains - Rila and Vitosha. Secured with good route notes and maps our clients will do nothing else but enjoy the stunning sceneries around them, that form the major part of the itinerary. The tour is meant for hikers in very good physical condition and previous experience in alpine hiking. Easier or harder options are available in some of the days, leaving you a choice to do a hike that would suit your abilities. We hope that this program will be a good addition to the existing classical high altitude treks in the area of Mont Blanc, Picos De Europa, Dolomites etc.
