By booking a ski package with Traventuria Ltd. you are deemed to have accepted on behalf of everyone involved in the booking these Booking Conditions, which constitutes the entire agreement between you and Traventuria Ltd., and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis. The following conditions are valid for all ski packages, including equipment, lift passes, tuition, transfers to the resorts and winter activities at and out of the slopes, operated through the websites and brand names of Traventuria Ltd., namely traventuria.com, traventuria.bg, skibansko.bg, skiborovets.bg, banskoskishop.com, skishopborovets.com, etc.
1.Traventuria rules and conditions regarding cancellations by the client & no-show
1.1. All cancellations should be made in writing to Traventuria Ltd. on our corporate email: info@traventuria.com. Cancellations advised verbally to a company staff (i.e. drivers, tour guides, resort representatives) or in writing to another email addresses will not be considered as valid.
1.2. The following cancellation charges (as a percentage of the total cost, but not less than the deposit) apply for cancellations made by clients for services in Bulgaria, booked through Traventuria Ltd.: > 30 days - 30%; 29-15 days -50%; 14-9 days -70%; 8 days or less -100%; A 100% cancellation charge will be applied to all cancellations/no-shows received later than 24 hrs before the beginning of the tour.
1.3. In all cases when the customer decides to only partly cancel a reservation, the following charges will apply:
- For all the payments done via PayPal, Traventuria will apply 10 euro charge;
- For all the payments done via bank transfer, Traventuria will apply as an administration tax 4% of the amount as a charge but not less than an amount of 10 euro/person;
- For all the payments done via credit/debit card, Traventuria will apply as an administration tax 4% of the amount as a charge but not less than an amount of 10 euro/person;
1.4. The same rules, explained in 1.3, apply if a client decides to leave the holiday before its end.
1.5. We will issue all required documents, verifying the cancellation, which you can use for your insurance company.
1.6. In case the payment is made by payment card, reimbursements are going to be made via refund order to the card used for payment within 30 days.
2. Cancellation protection package
2.1. Description of the package:
A cancellation package could be added at the time of booking to every ski or snowboard package (including equipment, lift passes, private tuition, winter activities and etc.) booked with Traventuria Ltd., as an additional tax of 8% of the total amount per every customer. The package is pre-departure coverage that reimburses your costs for prepaid ski packages with Traventuria (that are generally non-refundable) if you have to cancel your trip not later than 48h before departure for a covered reason.
2.2. Special events, regarding this package
The trip cancellation package covers unforeseen events that are listed below in the policy. This also means that if the plan doesn’t list the event, then cancellation for that reason won’t be covered. Every customer, that wants to take advantage of their cancellation package, needs to report in writing the reason for cancellation to our corporative e-mail info@traventuria.com not later than 48h after the covered event by applying official documents, that could prove the case.
2.2.1. Covered events
- Injury or illness – An injury or illness of you or some of the travellers;
- Natural disaster – A natural disaster destroys your destination
- Hurricane – A hurricane destroys your home or your destination prior to your departure.
- Schedule conflicts – Schedule issues may court summons
- Traffic Accidents – You or your traveling companion are in a traffic accident en route to your scheduled departure.
- Terrorism or mandatory evacuations – A terrorist event that occurs at your destination and results in mandatory evacuations.
- Bankruptcy or financial default – A pre-paid travel supplier completely ceases all operations due to financial default or bankruptcy.
- Assaults – you or your traveling companion are a victim of a felonious assault prior to your scheduled departure.
- Work conflicts – You or your traveling companion are terminated, required to transfer to a new work location, or in the military and deployed to help with disaster relief.
- Labor strikes – Your travel is disrupted or flights are canceled due to an unannounced labor strike.
- Death of relative (next of kin)- A close relative has passed away unexpectedly.
2.2.2. Uncovered events:
- Canceling a trip where the purpose of which is to obtain medical treatment.
- Canceling a trip for routine medical treatment for an existing medical condition.
- Canceling a trip because the traveler feels that taking the trip would be unsafe.
- Canceling a trip because the weather is not agreeable.
- Canceling a trip because the traveler decided they couldn’t afford the expense.
- Canceling a trip due to mental or psychological disorders, including anxiety, depression, and more.
- Canceling a trip because the traveler had a change of heart.
- Canceling a trip due to pregnancy, childbirth, or an elective abortion other than medical complications of pregnancy that threaten the life of mother or child.
- Canceling a trip due to government regulation or prohibition.
- Canceling a student trip because the school board canceled the trip.
- Canceling a trip due to civil riots at your destination.
- Canceling a trip due to alcohol or substance abuse.
- Canceling a trip due to mental illness or panic attacks.
- Canceling a trip due to unlawful acts committed by the insured, their traveling companion, or a family member, whether insured or not.
- Canceling a trip due to an intentionally self-inflicted injury, suicide, or attempted suicide of the insured, their traveling companion, or a family member, whether insured or not.
2.3. Еvent coverage announcement
Every customer, that wants to take advantage of their cancellation package, needs to report in writing the reason for cancellation to our corporative e-mail info@traventuria.com not later than 48h after the covered event by applying a written proof of it. Cancellations advised verbally to a company staff (i.e. drivers, tour guides, resort representatives) or in writing to another email addresses will not be considered as valid.
